Description
Devon Energy Corp. announced results from three horizontal Teapot producers in Converse County, Wyo. In Section 2-36n-69w, #35-263769-1XTPH-CU Downs-Federal flowed 1.578 Mbbl of oil, with 483.9 Mcf of gas and 630 bbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral extending northward to 17,600 ft, 6,506 ft true vertical, and it bottomed in Section 23-37n-69w. It was tested following 52-stage fracturing between 7,160 and 17,402 ft. Within 1 mile to the east in the same section, #02-113669-1XTPH Downs-Federal initially pumped 1.562 Mbbl of oil, 405 Mcf of gas and 567 bbl of water per day. A lateral was drilled to the southwest to 16,094 ft at a bottomhole location in Section 11-36n-69w. The true vertical depth is 6,610 ft. It was tested after 46-stage fracturing between 6,946 and 15,972 ft. From the same drillpad, #02-113669-3XTPH Downs-Federal initially pumped 1.512 Mbbl of oil, 349 Mcf of gas and 628 bbl of water per day. It was tested after 44-stage fracturing between 7,095 and 15,686 ft. The Teapot lateral extends southward to 15,883 ft, 6,607 ft true vertical, and it bottomed in Section 11-36n-69w.
