Description

Sabine Oil & Gas has completed three extended-lateral Haynesville Shale wells in the Harrison County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas, portion of Carthage Field. The #1H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh flowed at a daily rate of 22.733 MMcf of gas and 1,766 bbl of water through perforations at 11,295-23,168 ft. Tested on a 31/64- in. choke, flowing casing pressure was 6,221 psi and shut-in casing pressure was 6,895 psi. Total depth is 23,206 ft (11,133 ft true vertical). The offsetting #2H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh flowed 21.86 MMcf of gas and 1,866 bbl of water per day from a Haynesville zone at 11,383-22,608 ft. Total depth is 22,674 (11,021 ft true vertical). A third horizontal well, #3H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh, was completed in a Haynesville zone at 11,170-22,160 ft flowing 16.71 MMcf of gas and 1,933 bbl of water daily. The gas well was drilled to a total depth of 22,761 ft (11,032 ft true vertical). The wells were drilled from offsetting surface locations on a 1,547-acre lease in the Benjamin F Hooper Survey, A-296. The #1H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh and 2H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh bottomed about 2 miles to the south in Joseph Covey Survey, A-169. The parallel #3H G.R. Furrh-W.K. Furrh bottomed in W.D. Downs Survey, A-225. Sabine’s headquarters are in Houston.
