Description

Calyx Energy III has completed three horizontal Arkoma Basin wells in Hughes County, Okla. According to IHS Markit, the Carson Field wells were drilled from a pad in Section 14-8n-12e. The #2-14-26WH Hamilton flowed 7.781 MMcf of gas and 3,788 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations ranging from Woodford at 5,201 ft to Mays at 15,766 ft. Tested on an unreported choke size, the flowing tubing pressure was 279 psi. The total depth is 15,852 ft (4,954 ft true vertical) with a lateral that bottomed about 2 miles to the east in Section 26-8n-12e in neighboring Pittsburg County. The parallel #3-14-26WH Hamilton bottomed in the same section and initially flowed 9.261 MMcf of gas and 3,231 bbl of water daily from Woodford/Mays at 5,560-15,771 ft. It was drilled to 15,863 ft and the true vertical depth is 4,889 ft, The #4-14-26WH Hamilton was drilled to 15,850 ft (4,893 ft true vertical) and bottomed 2 miles to the south in the same section. It was tested flowing 9.21 MMcf of gas and 4,005 bbl of water daily from perforations in Woodford and Mays at 5,193-15,761 ft.
