Description
Touchstone Exploration Inc. has received the results of an independent review by GLJ Petroleum Consultants of its Ortoire Block exploration area onshore Trinidad and Tobago. The review identified exploration prospects and the evaluation includes an estimate of the company's risked and unrisked recoverable volumes based on existing well bores, offset producing properties, and historical production tests on two of the three prospects. The company also used a combination of 2-D and 3-D seismic data to further delineate the individual prospects. The locations target turbidite fan sequences of Herrera at depths between 7,000 and 11,500 ft. Currently, GLJ and Touchstone have not included the contingent resources and prospective resources identified in Touchstone's reserves report as the exploration license governing the Ortoire Block requires the company to first declare commerciality of any discovery prior to economic production. Calgary-based Touchstone holds an 80% interest in the prospect.
