Magnolia, Ark.-based Weiser-Brown Operating Co. completed a Miller County, Ark., Smackover well that tested flowing 1.35 million cu. ft. of gas and 48 bbl. of oil. The well is in Section 20-16s-28w and was directionally drilled to 8,122 ft. Production from #1 Sams is from natural perforations in Smackover at 7,964-68 ft. Gauged on a 12/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 2,190 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,450 psi. Weiser-Brown's new well has apparently reestablished production in the abandoned Harmony Grove Field.
