Description
Carnarvon Petroleum has begun drilling appraisal well #3-Dorado, a second appraisal of the Dorado Field in the Bedout Sub-basin. Area water depth is about 95 m. The #3-Dorado is approximately 900 m northwest of #1-Dorado discovery location. At #3-Dorado two or three flow tests are planned and will be targeting Caley, Baxter and Milne reservoirs, and as acquire approximately 380 m of full-bore core in Caley, Baxter, Crespin and Milne Members. The Dorado oil and gas field is located in WA-437-P in which Carnarvon holds a 20% interest.
