A 2,300-ft wildcat has been scheduled by Sam Oil LLC in Nevada’s White River Valley. No objective for #1-9 Sam Oil White River Valley was disclosed. The well will be in Section 9-7n-61e of Nye County and is about 25 miles east of Grant Canyon Field. Grant Canyon Field was discovered in 1983 with the completion of #1 Grant Canyon in Section 21-7n-57e. The well initially flowed 1.816 Mbbl of oil per day from Devonian Guilmette at 4,374-4,426 ft. Sam Oil’s headquarters are in Colorado Springs, Colo.
