Description
Matador Production Co. completed two more Pronghorn Field wells from its Rodney Robinson Federal prospect in New Mexico’s Lea County. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 6-23s-33e. The #101H Rodney Robinson Federal was drilled to 20,004 ft (9,862 ft true vertical). It initially flowed 1,627 bbl of oil, 2.758 MMcf of gas and 3,625 bbl of water per day after 53-stage fracturing. It was tested on a 56/64-inch choke and the shut-in casing pressure was 650 psi. Production is from perforations at 9,965-19,842 ft. The #201H Rodney Robinson Federal has a total depth of 22,484 ft and a true vertical depth of 12,436 ft. It flowed 3,697 bbl of oil, 6.617 MMcf of gas and 5,896 bbl of water per day from a perforated zone at 12,324-22,368 ft. Gauged on a 40/64-inch choke, the shut-in casing pressure was 3,360 psi.
