Description
In Beaver County, Pa., Penn Energy Resources completed a Marcellus Shale well that was tested flowing 5.903 MMcf of gas per day. The #4H Zahn is in Section 8, Zelienople 7.5 Quad, Marion Township. The well was drilled to the northwest to 12,370 with a true vertical depth of 5,312 ft. The Teets Field venture was tested on an unreported choke size and the shut-in casing pressure was 1,050 psi. Production is from perforations between 6,400 and 12,260 ft. Penn Energy’s headquarters are in Pittsburgh.
