An Ordovician Red River wildcat discovery by Denver-based Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. was completed in Richland County, Mont. The #17-1 Jonsson is in Section 17-21n-57e and produced 828 bbl of oil, 498 Mcf of gas and 8.39 bbl of water from an undisclosed Red River interval in 27 days. The vertical well was drilled to a proposed depth of 12,052 ft. Additional completion details are not available.
