Description
Dallas-based Silver Hill Energy Partners LLC has added a horizontal Wolfcamp completion to its Loving County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, drilling program in the Delaware Basin. The #1H Pistol 25-8 was tested flowing 540 bbl of 45-degree-gravity oil, 897 Mcf of gas and 3 Mbbl of water per day through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 13,048-17,318 ft. It was tested on a 22/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 2,975 psi. The Phantom Field well was drilled to 17,500 ft, 12,700 ft true vertical, and is on a 640-acre West Texas lease in Section 8, Block C25, Public School Land Survey, A-1043. It bottomed one mile to the southeast.
