Description
Drilling permits for eight Campbell County, Wyo., wells were granted to Rebellion Energy II LLC. The horizontal wildcats will be drilled from on a common drillpad in Section 11-43n-76w. Two Niobrara wells, four Frontier wells and two Mowry wells are planned. They are two-section laterals with bottom-hole locations generally to the south in Section 23-43n-76w. The Powder River Basin tests will be on the Charles Darwin 11S federal lease. Depths range from 21,745 to 23,802 ft and estimated true vertical total depths are 11,330 ft for Niobrara, 12,065 ft for Frontier, and 13,362 ft for Mowry. They are in an area of shallow Fort Union coalbed methane production and about 3 miles west of Shannon production in Pumpkin Buttes Field and there is no Niobrara, Frontier or Mowry production in the vicinity. Rebellion’s headquarters are in Tulsa.
