Description
In the Altamont-Bluebell complex, EP Energy Corp. has completed a Wasatch producer in the Uinta Basin. Located in Section 17-1s-3w of Duchesne County, Utah, #3-17A3 Lyons was directionally drilled to the northwest to 16,114 ft and bottomed in Section 17 at a true vertical depth of 16,012 ft. It initially flowed 484 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 448 Mcf of gas and 515 bbl of water per day. It was tested in eight acidized and fractured Wasatch intervals between 14,004 and 16,014 ft and tested on a 14/64-in. choke with a tubing pressure of 1,878 psi. EP Energy’s headquarters are in Houston.
