A Mont Field-Wilcox well has been completed by Houston-based Capital Star Oil & Gas Inc. in Lavaca County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas. The venture, #2R Anderson A, is on a 688-acre Central Texas Coast lease in Section 8, John M. Ashby Survey, A-1. It was tested flowing 4.034 MMcf of gas and 90 bbl of 51.6-degree-gravity condensate per day from natural perforations at 10,247-10,301 ft. The 11,000-ft well was tested on a 14/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 4,195 and a shut-in tubing pressure of 5,325 psi.
