Tyler, Texas-based Mewbourne Oil Co. has completed a western Anadarko Basin-Marmaton horizontal producer in the Texas Panhandle. The Ochiltree County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, venture is #35 M001OB Courson Key. It is in Section 35, Block 13, T&NO Survey, A-375, and produced 245 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 41 Mcf of gas and 1.3 Mbbl of water per day. It was tested on an open choke with 140 psi of flowing tubing pressure. It was drilled north across the section to 11,977 ft (7,156 ft true vertical), and was perforated and fracture-stimulated at 7,520-11,940 ft.
