Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Lampasas Oil Corp., Dripping Springs, Texas, plans a 4,500-ft. wildcat in western Lampasas County (RRC 7B), Texas, about three miles southwest of Lometa. It will drill #1 John Davis on the northeastern flank of the Llano Uplift in the G. McWilliams Survey, A-502 (some maps may show Milton Yates Survey, A-761). To date, there is only one commercially producing well completed in Lampasas County. The #1 Gotcher, more than 30 miles east-southeast, opened Toga Field in early 2006 with an initial daily potential of 193,000 cu. ft. of gas from Cisco. During May of 2006, the well yielded 580,000 cu. ft. of gas with no additional recovery reported.
