It will bottom in Lower Tuscaloosa Sand. According to paperwork filed with the state, the New Orleans-based company does not plan to complete the vertical wellbore. After evaluating cores and pressure samples, Helis intends to plug back the pilot hole and drill a horizontal lateral targeting oil in Tuscaloosa Marine Shale.
