Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Hilcorp Energy has completed a Frio well in a part of Matagorda County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas, with no current production. The #1 Green was tested flowing 11.978 MMcf of gas, 280 bbl of 45-degree-gravity crude and 35 bbl of water daily from perforations at 13,916-14,757 ft. The vertical sidetrack was drilled to 15,218 ft with a true vertical depth of 15,218 ft. and was tested on a 21/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 9,315 psi. The discovery, which opened an as-yet unnamed field, was drilled on a 1,022-acre Upper Texas Coast lease in Section 19, Lewis DeMoss Survey, A-145. The original vertical hole was junked and abandoned at 6,583 ft.
