IHS Markit reported that Dallas independent Petro-Hunt LLC has completed an exploratory test in the Powder River Basin that initially flowed 526 bbl of oil, 760 Mcf of gas and 277 bbl of water per day. The #43-71-8B-17-2H Reno is in Section 5-43n-71w of Campbell County, Wyo. Production is from a horizontal lateral in Turner extending from 9,595 ft about two miles southward to 19,220 ft. The well has a true vertical depth of 9,367 ft and is bottomed in Section 17-43n-71w. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke following 32-stage fracturing between 9,738 and 18,861 ft.
