Drilling Activity Summary

Description

EOG Resources Inc. has completed two offsetting horizontal Wolfcamp producers in the northeastern Loving County (RRC Dist. 8) portion of Phantom Field. According to IHS Markit, the wells were drilled at the Houston-based company’s Scrapfile Lease in J.B. Walling Survey, A-1392, which are between numerous horizontal Wolfcamp producers completed by the operator in recent years. The #1H Scrapfile North flowed 3.191 Mbbl of 41.3-degree-gravity crude, 5.775 MMcf of gas and 8.336 Mbbl of water daily from a fracture-stimulated interval at 12,460-22,190 ft. The flowing casing pressure was gauged at 732 psi on an 88/64-in. choke. The West Texas well was drilled from a surface location in the J.B. Walling survey, A-1392. It was drilled to 22,190 ft and bottomed at a true vertical depth of 12,410 ft about 2 miles to the north. A south-trending offset, #1H Scrapfile South initially flowed 2.639 MMcf of gas, 853 bbl of 45.5-degree-gravity oil and 1.658 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from fracture-treated perforations at 12,045-19,465. Tested on a 2-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,331 psi.. It was drilled to 19,492 ft, 12,142 ft true vertical, and bottomed about 1.5 miles to the south.
