Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A re-entry in the eastern Anadarko Basin's Chitwood Field by Sheridan Production Co. recovered 240 bbl 42-degree-gravity oil, 251 Mcf of gas and 24 bbl of water per day. The well is in Section 2-4n-6w in Grady County, Okla., at #1-2 M.R. Brown. Production is from acidized and fracture-stimulated perforations in Boatwright Sand (Springer) between 12,452 and 12,516 ft. It was tested on a 12/64-in. choke and the shut-in tubing pressure was 6,429 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,000 psi. Houston-based Sheridan originally completed the 16,712-ft vertical well in 2014 flowing 118 bbl of oil, 861 Mcf of gas and 378 bbl of water per day from a treated interval of Bromide between 16,181 and 16,642 ft.
