Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Tulsa-based Canyon Creek Energy has released completion details for three Woodford wells drilled in 2019 from a pad in Hughes County, Okla. The pad is in Section 22-6n-11e.The #2-27/34H Bonell is producing from perforations at 6,742-16,908 ft flowing 7.53 MMcf of gas and 1.189 Mbbl of water per day on a 33/64-in. choke after acidizing and fracturing. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke and the respective shut-in and flowing tubing pressures were 2,220 psi and 350 psi. The Hill Top Field well was drilled south about 2 miles to 17,015 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,290 ft. It bottomed in Section 34-6n-11e. Fifteen ft east on the pad, #3-27/34H Bonell was tested on a 30/64-in. choke initially flowing 7.9 MMcf of gas with 1.453 Mbbl of water per day from a treated interval between 6,860 and 16,983 ft in a parallel lateral. Drilled to 17,080 ft (6,328 ft true vertical), the shut-in tubing pressure was 252 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 585 psi. The #4-27/34H Bonell initially flowed 7.86 MMcf of gas, and 665 bbl of water per day. It is producing from three treated intervals—Woodford at 7,096-10,742 ft, Mississippian 10,743-10,987 and Woodford at 10,988-17,247 ft. Drilled to 17,337 ft (6,359 ft true vertical), it bottomed in Section 34-6n-11e. According to IHS Markit, the three wells combined to produce 600 MMcf of gas in November 2019 and 553 MMcf the following month.
