Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., according to IHS Markit, announced results from two Dimock Field horizontal Marcellus Shale ventures in Section 3, Brooklyn Township, Hop Bottom Quad of Susquehanna County, Pa. Cabot’s #1H Molnar M was tested flowing 16.9 MMcf of gas per day from a gross production zone from 7,950 to 15,865ft. Gauged on an unreported choke size, the shut-in casing pressure was 1,750 psi. It was drilled to 15,935 ft and the true vertical depth was 7,193 ft. The #3H Molnar M was drilled to 15,581 ft, 7,193 ft true vertical, and is producing 16.2 MMcf of gas per day with a shut-in casing pressure of 1,600 psi.
