Description

In the western McMullen County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas, portion of AWP Field, Blackbrush Oil & Gas LP completed three Olmos oil wells from a common pad. The discoveries are on a 4,258-acre Southwest Texas lease in Section 4, GB&CNG RR Co Survey, A-605, and bottomed in Section 46, CCSD&RGNG RR Co Survey, A-1131. The #1605H STS flowed 567 bbl of 46.3-degree-gravity crude, 1.263 MMcf of gas and 653 bbl of water per day through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 9,315-13,475 ft. Gauged on a 15/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,650 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 580 psi. The 13,612-ft well has a true vertical depth of 8,856 ft and bottomed 1 mile to the north. The #2605H STS flowed 475 bbl of 46.3-degree-gravity crude, 1.109 MMcf of gas and 631 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,260-13,092 ft. The total depth is 13,228 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,872 ft. The #3605H STS flowed 755 bbl of crude, 1 MMcf of gas and 538 bbl of water per day. It was drilled to 14,610 ft, 8,833 ft true vertical, and production is from perforations at 9,260-13,092 ft. Blackbrush’s headquarters are in San Antonio.
