Description

In West Virginia’s Tyler County, Denver-based Antero Resources completed three Marcellus Shale wells in an unspecified field in Middlebourne Township. The #2H Dierkes Unit was drilled to 14,624 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,300 ft. It flowed 179 bbl of oil and 6.102 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 6,830 ft-14,472 ft after 38-stages of fracturing. The #1H Kirk Hadley Unit has a total depth of 14,328 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,257 ft. It initially flowed 175 bbl of oil and 5.391 MMcf of gas per day from a perforated zone at 6,594 ft-14,176 ft and it was fractured in 39 stages. The #1H Treasury Unit was drilled to 21,584 ft, 6,180 ft true vertical. It produced 193 bbl of oil and 5.573 MMcf of gas per day after 75-stage fracturing. Production is from perforations at 6,669 ft-21,432 ft.
