Oslo-based Aker BP has received a permit to drill an exploration well on the Rumpetroll Prospect in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea in PL869, Block 24/9. The #24/9-13 will be drilled in 117.5 m of water. Aker is the operator of Pl869, Block 24/9, and the Rumpetroll well with 60% interest in partnership with Lundin holding 20%, and Point Resources with the remaining 20%.
