Sterling Energy Resources

Sterling Energy Resources, Overland, Kan., has retained PLS Inc. to sell certain assets in northeastern Kansas. The package includes 100% operated working interest (80.25% net revenue interest) in 117 wells (63 active) in the McLouth formation in Jefferson and Leavenworth counties. Gross production is 110 barrels of oil and 50 barrels of water per day. The assets also feature a 23,000- acres gas storage unit. Additional investment could increase production to 160 barrels oil per day. A bid due date is to be announced
