DualEx Energy International Inc., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: DXE) has acquired Winslow Resources Inc., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: WLR) for C$6.2 million in equity. DualEx issued 0.44 unit per Winslow share, with each unit valued at approximately C$0.15 and 47.1 million Winslow shares outstanding. Winslow is now a subsidiary of DualEx. Winslow's assets include gas, oil and coalbed-methane properties in the Hair Hills, Keho, Chigwell and Wainwright areas of Alberta and the Leader and Viewfield areas of Saskatchewan. Acumen Capital Finance Partners Ltd. was financial advisor to Winslow.
