Roc Oil Co. Ltd., Sydney, Australia, (Australia: ROC) has acquired a 24.5% interest in the Zhao Dong Block offshore China from Apache Corp., Houston, (NYSE; Nasdaq: APA) for US$260 million. The block is in Bohai Bay and produces 10,500 net barrels of oil per day and has estimated proved reserves of 8 million barrels of oil equivalent.
