Thom Robinson has resigned as chairman of Gastar Exploration Ltd., Houston, (Amex: GST; Toronto: YGA) to devote his attention to Geostar Corp.'s Australian activities in the Gippsland Basin. J. Russell Porter was named chairman. He is currently president and chief executive.
