Description
In Colorado’s Weld County, Denver-based PDC Energy Inc. announced results from a Wattenberg Field venture. The #1C Popham is in Section 3-4n-64w and was drilled to a total depth of 12,728 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,802 ft. It flowed at a 24-hour rate of 199 bbl of 52° API condensate 606,000 cu ft of gas and 158 bbl of water. Production is from comingled perforations in Fort Hays (7,611-7,652 ft), Codell (7,652-12,723 ft and Carlile (7,742-11,845 ft). Gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 850 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 1,536 psi.
