Kaiser-Francis Oil Co., based in Tulsa, completed a horizontal Codell producer in the northern Denver-Julesburg Basin in Laramie County., Wyo. The #2-0506H Rheeti initially flowed 411 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil, 264 Mcf of gas and 1.28 Mbbl of water per day. The venture was drilled to 18,923 ft, 8,817 ft true vertical, and is in Section 4-15n-65w. Production is from a horizontal lateral extending from 9,103 ft westward to 18,923 ft at a bottom-hole location in Section 6-15n-65w. It was tested on a 38/64-in. choke following 40-stage fracture stimulation between 9,115 and 18,777 ft.
