Snyder Associated Cos. Inc. and various other parties have retained RBC Richardson Barr to sell certain oil and gas properties targeting the Marcellus shale in Pennsylvania.

The assets include a premium leasehold position of approximately 227,000 net acres primarily in Armstrong, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson, and Westmoreland counties. The properties are 71% held by production with 82% net revenue interest. There is an estimated 10-year term on remaining acreage.

Upside includes significant activity in the immediate area and a resource-development model covering the properties and created with data from engineering consultant Wright & Co. This includes data available to assist in evaluation and log/production data on approximately 50 vertical Marcellus wells, data on production holding acreage, and some abstracts/title opinions.

The properties are subdivided into packages and can be acquired in a single package.
