Acquired 5% WI in 1,600-acre lease in eastern Pecos County.

Victory Energy Corp., Newport Beach, Calif., (Pink Sheets: VYEY) and Utah-based Aurora Energy Partners LP have acquired a working interest in the University 6 #1 prospect in Texas, also known as Tunis Creek, from Midland, Texas-based V-F Petroleum Inc.

Victory acquired a 5% working interest (3.75% net revenue interest) in the 1,600-acre lease in eastern Pecos County. The prospect has been permitted to test the Wichita, Albany, Wolfcamp and Ellenburger formations.

V-F Petroleum is operator and plans to drill the Tunis Creek prospect to a total depth of 7,500 feet.
