Acquired 10% stake in company.

Investment bank Morgan Stanley, New York, (NYSE: MS) has acquired a 10% stake in Hanoi-based Petrovietnam Finance Corp., the financial arm of Vietnam's state oil company, for US$217 million, according to Reuters. Morgan Stanley paid US$4.34 per share, the same average price retail investors paid at PVFC's initial public offering in October. The company is valued at US$2.2 billion.
