KrisEnergy has wrapped up work at Cambodia’s Block A following its agreement in 2017 with the region to develop the offshore field. On June 25, the company said the 1,200 sq km (463 sq miles) 3-D seismic survey in the Cambodia Block A concession has been completed on time and without any health, safety or environmental incidents.
Shearwater Geoservices Singapore Pte Ltd. was awarded the turnkey broadband seismic contract through the wholly-owned subsidiary, KrisEnergy (Apsara) Co. Ltd., and deployed the vessel SW Vespucci.
The JV transaction marks Osaka Gas’ first acquisition in the midstream business in the U.S. following the Japanese company’s purchase of Sabine Oil & Gas late last year.
