Koch Pipeline Co. LP announced plans to expand its South Texas crude oil pipeline system to transport additional crude oil from the Eagle Ford play. Koch Pipeline will build an additional 24-mile, 16-inch pipeline in San Patricio County, Texas, with an expected initial capacity of about 200,000 barrels per day. Currently, Koch Pipeline operates about 540 miles of active crude oil transportation pipeline in Texas. The new pipeline is expected to enter service in the second quarter.
