Continental Resources Inc. (NYSE: CLR) COO Tony C. Maranto resigned for undisclosed reasons after being with the Oklahoma City-based company for roughly one month, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 7.
Maranto's resignation took effect June 5 and his duties will presently be absorbed by the company's management team, the SEC filings said.
An industry veteran, Maranto joined Continental from EnerVest Ltd. on May 1. At EnerVest, he had served as executive vice president and COO since August 2016.
Prior to EnerVest, Maranto served as vice president and general manager at EOG Resources Inc. (NYSE: EOG) where he was responsible for the company's Midcontinent business unit. He was with EOG for more than 20 years.
