Anschutz Exploration Corp. has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell certain interests in the Williston Basin with Bakken production.
The package includes 84% average working interest (66% average net revenue interest) in 223,445 gross acres (166,693 net) in Billings and Dunn counties, North Dakota. Assets include 21 operated wells (19 producing and two shut in). Some 23,654 net acres are developed with 143,345 undeveloped and 25,435 gross acres held by production with 2009 to 2011 expirations on the remainder.
Projected production for October is 810 gross barrels of oil (545 net) and 546,000 gross cubic feet of gas per day (369,000 net). Projected cash flow for the period is $1.4 million net.
Significant upside potential exists including multiple pay potential in addition to the Bakken, 13 proved undeveloped locations, and more than 200 undrilled locations on 1,280-acre spacing.
