Enverus announced several key executive leadership changes within its global operation on Jan. 19 including the promotion of Matt Wilcoxson to chief growth officer.
“These incredible individuals will help lead Enverus into the next chapter of success as we help shape the future of energy—the largest market in the world,” Enverus CEO Jeff Hughes commented in a release from the firm.
In addition to Wilcoxson, Enverus also named Chris Dinkler as chief revenue officer, Keri Brooke as chief marketing officer, Michael Mroz as chief sales officer. David Ranucci had previously been named chief sales officer and Meredith Gendell as chief human resources officer in 2021.
Enverus is a leading energy SaaS and data analytics company headquartered in Austin, Texas. With offices around the globe, the firm serves more than than 6,000 customers across 50 countries.
In 2021, Enverus was acquired by private equity firm Hellman & Friedman in a transaction that valued Enverus at $4.25 billion, including the assumption of debt. Genstar Capital, which had been Enverus’ majority owner since 2018, has continued to hold a significant minority stake in the company.
In his new role as chief growth officer at Enverus, Wilcoxson will lead strategic initiatives designed to help customers with their own transformations, according to the release. He joined Enverus in 2005 and has served in various sales and leadership roles during his 16-year tenure. He has led Enverus’ global sales efforts, account management and membership development and has extensive experience in growing new markets and various verticals.
Wilcoxson currently serves on the board of key industry organizations and is actively involved with Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), Western Energy Alliance, Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners (TIPRO), Young Professionals in Energy (YPE), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and many others.
In Dinkler’s new role, he will focus on leading sales at Enverus. For the past six years, Dinkler has held various leadership roles within Enverus including senior vice president and general manager for Business Automation, leading the successful integration of four separate acquisitions into one, creating one of the highest growth areas for the company, according to the release.
As chief marketing officer, Brooke will support the scale and growth of the company. She arrives at Enverus with varied experiences leading marketing, most recently at Salesforce where she led marketing for their Sales Cloud business unit.
As chief sales officers, Mroz will lead sales for specialty markets such as oilfield services, power and renewables, financial markets and trading and risk. In his role, Ranucci has responsibility over the oil and gas operators.
Mroz joined the company in 2013 as a territory sales manager following the acquisition of Transform Software & Services Inc. He previously served as senior vice president of Energy Analytics Sales, and prior to Enverus worked closely with the technology teams at Kerr-McGee to drive integrated workflows and introduce new technology to the organization, and as a geologist to advance reservoir characterization for Deepwater discoveries and producing fields.
Ranucci joined Enverus through the acquisition of RS Energy Group where he was the global head of energy and private equity. Over the last 25 years, he has held several senior level leadership positions with energy technology companies spanning the energy value chain, including operational excellence and HSE solutions, enterprise trading and risk solutions, and commercial and industrial power solutions.
Enverus’ new chief Human Resources officer, Gendell, came to Enverus having held senior level HR positions at Farmers Insurance, NCR and Intuit.
