Description
A Delaware Basin-Wolfcamp discovery was announced by Oxy USA Inc. in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1005H Betty Lou pumped 1.004 Mbbl of 42.5-degree-gravity oil, 1.206 MMcf of gas and 2.28 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acidized perforations at 10,726-14,554 ft. The 14,713-ft (10,434 ft true vertical) Wolfbone Field well is on a 1,944.4-acre West Texas lease in Section 10, Block 51, T8S, T&P RR Co, A-2449. It bottomed about one mile to the north in the same section. Oxy USA's headquarters are in Los Angeles.
