Description

Two Brazos County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas, Woodbine discoveries were reported by Hawkwood Energy Operating. The Madisonville West wells were drilled in Thomas W Blake Survey, A-6. The #1H Hayes Unit was drilled to 15,695 ft, and the true vertical depth is 7,610 ft. It produced 725 bbl of 33° API oil, with 171,000 cu ft of gas and 347 bbl of water per day from a perforated zone at 7,596-15,494 ft. Gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 818 psi, and the flowing tubing pressure was 50 psi. The #2H Hayes Unit was drilled to a total depth of 15,940 ft, and a true vertical depth of 7,605 ft. It flowed 817 bbl of 34° API oil, 191,000 cu ft of gas and 582 bbl of water per day. Tested on a 16/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 650 psi, and the shut-in casing pressure was 300 psi. Production is from perforations between 7,806 ft and 15,731 ft.
