Description

Two extended-lateral Wolfcamp wells were completed by Houston-based Surge Energy in Borden County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. IHS Markit reported that #1AH Nessie Unit A 34-46 was tested pumping 1.173 Mbbl of 38.7-degree-gravity oil, 420 Mcf of gas and 4.029 Mbbl of water per day from acidized and fracture-treated perforations at 7,505-19,716 ft. It is in Section 34, Block 31 T3N, T&P RR Co Survey, A-847. It was drilled to 19,850 ft, 6,941 ft true vertical, and bottomed 2 miles to the south-southeast in Section 46 in Howard County. The parallel #2AH Nessie Unit A 34-46 pumped 970 bbl of 38.7-degree-gravity crude, 312 Mcf of gas and 2.926 Mbbl daily from Wolfcamp at 7,530-19,741 ft. The total depth is 19,879 ft and the true vertical depth is 7,049 ft.
