Description
In Tangipahoa Parish, La., Houston-based Goodrich Petroleum Corp. has completed a Tuscaloosa Marine Shale well. The #1 Kinchen 58H was tested flowing 663 bbl of 41.5-degree-gravity oil, 201 Mcf of gas and 698 bbl. of water per day from perforations at 12,266-18,239 ft. Tested on a 14/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 793 psi. The Greenlaw Field producer was drilled to 18,365 ft and is in Section 58-1s-7e. The lateral bottomed more than one mile to the northeast at a true vertical depth of 11,720 ft in Section 5. Goodrich's new producer has reopened Greenlaw field, a one-well oil pool last active in 1991.
