Description
A horizontal Turner discovery on the southeastern flank of the Powder River Basin was announced by Denver-based Thunder Basin Resources LLC. Located in Section 14-40n-64w of Wyoming’s Niobrara County, #1-14-40-64H Boggy Creek-Fee pumped 101 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 50 Mcf of gas and 63 bbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral extending northward to 12,385 ft. It bottomed in Section with a true vertical depth of 4,847 ft. The Seedy Draw Field well was fractured in 33 stages between 5,499 and 12,267 ft.
