Description
Bison Oil & Gas LLC has received drilling permits for its first three horizontal Niobrara projects in the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The wells will be drilled from a common drillpad in Section 15-4s-64w in Arapahoe County, Colo., and will bottom in Section 16-4s-64w. The #15-16-1BHZ Bison 4-64 will be drilled to the west to 15,057 ft (7,592 ft true vertical); #15-16-1CHZ Bison 4-64 will be drilled westward to a 14,774 ft (7,648 ft true vertical); #15-16-2BHZ Bison 4-64 will be drilled westward to 15,026 ft (7,593 ft true vertical). Nearby production is to the south at a deeper J sand oil production in Chalice Field. Bison’s headquarters are in Denver.
