Denver-based SM Energy announced results from three Upton County (RRC Dist. 7c), Texas, Spraberry ventures that were drilled from a Spraberry Field pad in Section 32, Block 41, T&P RR CO Survey, A-1317. The #4444LS CVX Katie was drilled to 19,978 ft, 9,066 ft true vertical, and produced 1,427 bbl of oil, 1.095 MMcf of gas and 1,789 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,542-19,867 ft. The #4421MS CVX Katie was drilled to 19,159 ft (8,416 ft true vertical and produced 1,069 bbl of oil, 603,000 cu ft of gas and 2.302 bbl of water per day from perforations at 8,720-19,050 ft. The #4445LS CVX Katie was drilled to 19,790 ft, 8,869 ft true vertical, and it produced 1,238 bbl of oil, with 994,000 cu ft of gas and 2,108 bbl of water daily from a perforated zone at 9,355-19,675 ft. The #446LS CVX Katie was drilled to 19,972 ft, 8,959 ft true vertical, and it flowed 1,183 bbl of oil, 956,000 cu ft of gas and 2,207 bbl of water per day from perforations between 9,523 and 19,853 ft.
