Two offsetting horizontal Wolfcamp producers by San Antonio-based Abraxas Petroleum Corp. were completed in Ward County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. According to the company, #201H Caprito 98 had a daily average of 873 bbl of oil and 978 Mcf of gas per (1.036 Mboe). The well is producing from a 4,880-ft Wolfcamp A1 lateral. It was drilled to 15,956 ft. The #301HR Caprito 98 averaged 838 bbl of oil and 962 Mcf of gas per day (999 boe/d) during its first month online. The well was drilled to 16,098 ft, with a 4,880-ft lateral targeting Wolfcamp A2. The Phantom Field wells are on a 320-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 98, Block F, G&MMB&A Survey, A-52. The parallel laterals extend roughly one mile to the southwest.
