Description

Three Pierce Crossing discoveries in Eddy County, N.M. were reported by Houston-based Oxy USA. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 6-24s-29e, #312H Height CC 6-7 Federal Com was tested flowing 3.953 Mbbl of oil, 6.477 MMcf of gas and 13.752 Mbbl of water per day. The Bone Spring producer bottomed in Section 7. It was drilled to 20,064 ft with a true vertical depth of 9,687 ft and production is from perforations at 9,539-19,680 ft. The #311H Height CC 6-7 Federal Com produced 2.844 Mbbl of oil, 6.107 MMcf of gas and 12.018 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to parallel to #312H Height CC 6-7 Federal Com to 20,066 ft, 9,605 ft true vertical. It is producing from Bone Spring perforations between 9,505 and 19,666 ft. Within one-half mile to the southwest in Section 6-24s-29e, #022H Length CC 6-7 Federal Com was drilled to 18,809 ft with a true vertical depth of 8,441 ft. It was tested flowing 2.902 Mbbl of oil, 3.716 MMcf of gas and 9.202 Mbbl of water per day from perforations at 8,327-19,699 ft. Oxy USA is an affiliate of Occidental Petroleum Corp.
