Description

Two Canadian County, Okla., Mississippian discoveries were announced by Calgary-based Ovintiv. The Okarche North Field wells were drilled from a pad in Section 15-14n-7w. Ovintiv’s #1407 8H-3X Klade was drilled to a total depth of 19,852 with a true vertical depth of 8,812 ft. It produced 1,562 bbl of 49° API oil, 130,000 cu ft of gas with 1,199 bbl of water per day. It was tested on an 64/64-inch choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 260 psi. Production is from a perforated zone at 9,423-19,760 ft. The #1407 2H-3X Klade was drilled to 19,480 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,498 ft. The well flowed 547 bbl of 48° API oil, with 481,000 cu ft of gas and 755 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,080-19,310 ft. Gauged on a 128/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,170 psi.
